Exercising your imagination

Do you remember that time when you were a kid and you and your friends would sing at the top of your lungs like no one was watching???? Yeah, do that again but with your children. Dress up, make a pretend cake, by taking out every single pan and spatula in your kitchen, dress up in the fanciest clothes in your closets and have some hot chocolate, finger paint, color, or cut out stars and planets and tape them to the celling and lay down to look up at them.

When you pretend with your children, you're allowing them to be creative, problem solve, teamwork skills, maybe some adding or spelling depending on the project. So many things happen when you pretend with your child that is why it’s so important. Enjoy it and let your creativity move you to doing something fun.
